Also given all sorts of veggies like kangkong, brocolli, cucumber, carrots, etc. EXCEPT ONIONS and LEEKS because they are toxic to them.
Given a dose of Vitamin C everyday, 1 ml for PUPS and 2 ml for ADULTS
CARING INSTRUCTIONS:
Place your piggies in a well-ventilated area but make sure they are always dry.
Ensure that their cage provides them with enough space to eat, play, and rest. Also, avoid parallel wires as their flooring, because their feet might be injured.
They eat at any time of the day, see to it that they always have food and water available in their home.
Although they can easily be carried, it will still be helpful if you have a piece of cloth to wrap them with when you pick them up.
Each guinea pig has his/her own personality, so get to know them well.
Guinea pigs reproduce fast. If you don’t want to have plenty of them at home, have 2 males or 2 females who get along with each other.

FOR NEW/PROSPECTIVE PIGGY OWNERS:

Make sure you choose the right breed. If you’re not into brushing/trimming hair every so often, you can get an Abyssinian or an American piggy. If you’re like me who loves fluffy/furry-haired creatures, then the Peruvian breed is for you. Also, it would be important to know that Abyssinian and American breeds are more active than Peruvians.
Watch out for your piggy’s food intake, as it has effects on the overall well-being of your pet. When my piggies become too chubby at times because my family enjoys feeding them, I usually put them on a diet.
Check their behavior, body, and coat regularly and note if you find anyt
